This was a winter wedding at Los Willows in Fallbrook, CA. Since were were nestled in the tall trees and hills around the venue, light goes quickly so being timely is super important to ensure the entire day goes smoothly. I was scheduled to start just 30 minutes before the ceremony but ended up arriving an hour before I was set to start. I wanted to get ahead of schedule with some detail shots, to find a great family portrait location, couple photo locations and first look location too. I always arrive early to weddings because I like to ease into a day of photography. I like to scope out the location, meet the couple and start warming up with some detail images before I start photographing all the special moments about to happen.
Here is a collection of images from the day, this was 5 hours of photography and since the getting ready portion of the day was what the couple wanted, It was still a good amount of time to still get ready photos with the bride, a first look, family photos, wedding party photos, capture the ceremony, couples photos all over the property and photograph the toasts, dancing group shots, cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter toss and all else that was happening during the reception.
